1. How deep do you set your post?
NorTex Fence sets all posts approximately 3 feet deep in concrete, sometimes deeper. (The deeper, the stronger.
Shallower post will lean over time).

2. How far apart are your post set from one another?
-Nortex Fence sets posts 6ft apart.  Posts set farther apart will cause the fence to sag in between the posts over time.
On our wood barrier wall applications the post are set every 2-3ft for extra support.

3. What kind of nails do you use?
-Nortex Fence uses Galvanized Steel- Ring Shank Nails.  These nails are very strong and wont back out on you years
down the road like some cheaper nails.  These nails also will never leave black streaks running down your beautiful
fence.

4. Why don't you use aluminum nails for your fences?
-Aluminum nails are much weaker than our nails, they will not hold up over time.  Aluminum nails are not recommended.

5. What type of wood is used on your fences?
-Nortex Fence uses the highest quality Cedar on the market.  We can build your fence in Premium or Clear Grade
Quality.  We use this higher quality wood to keep your knots tighter, so years down the road you wont be left with
random knot holes in your fence.  Our board's knots are very tight and wont be popping out. Our clear cedar is very
nice and is knot free is you are worried about knot issues down the road, or simply like the look of knot free cedar,
after all it is beautiful.
***spruce can be used on special request***

6. Should I stain or finish my project right away?
-Yes, the longer you wait the more damage can be caused. (You can think of it like if it were you personally being in
the sun and weather; it doesn't take long for your skin to become damaged-exact same concept with wood. Your
saving money in the long run by finishing your wood ASAP to prevent this.

7. What is Pre-Dipped?
-Pre-dipped is what Nortex Fence recommends to every customer.  We dry the lumber to a low percentage of moisture
content and then dip each board individually.  This is great because you get every area of the board covered with
stain, unlike spraying stain where you only get the exposed areas stained and sealed.  Also, you have no over spray of
any type and don't make a mess at all, like you do when spray staining takes place. This type of staining will last
about 30% longer as well.  Definitely a great choice for your investment.

8. What all can NorTex do for my home?
-NorTex Fence will build your fence, patio, gazebo, arbor, deck, bench seating, along with other wood working ends
and outs and then we can stain the projects for you.

We offer Roofing and Landscaping as well !!!***

Note: It only takes within a year for your beautiful fence or deck to start becoming gray and ugly, causing it to
become weak and brittle, costing you more money. Its best to re-stain and finish your fence or deck every 3-5 years to
extend its life.

Note: Concrete is premixed before pouring into the post holes, this allows for very little to no unmixed concrete in the
hole, making for a stronger hold on the post.
